Finish Tolerances
When it comes to surface finishes, it's important to factor them into your overall design, as our surface finishes can add anywhere from 0.0004" to 0.003", depending on the finish.
For example, when mounting a component that requires a 1" diameter hole (on a surface that will be powder-coated), be sure to call out a 1.006" hole diameter. This will allow for 0.003" of powder coat per side.
