Material Considerations:

Material must meet a minimum rigidity for precision cutting. We recommend staying within a minimum durometer of 30A and a maximum durometer of 70a. We can use softer materials (i.e. a lower durometer), but cutting accuracy may be sacrificed. (Min. durometer 30A - Max. durometer 70a) - (Softer materials can be cut, but accuracy may be lost)

Material thicknesses we can accommodate between 1/4" to 1/64". We stock gasket materials that range between 1/8" and 1/16" in thickness.

Overall minimum diameter for a gasket is more than 1.25".

Smallest hole diameter is 0.060". Small holes in thicker material will have more taper.

The tangent of any cutout should have at least 0.1" between the cutout itself and the nearest cutout or the edge of the part.

Considerations for Using a Photo Instead of a CAD File when Ordering a Gasket:

Not 100% accurate process.

Tolerance may vary depending on quality of picture provided.

Your image should be at least 5 megapixels

Images are best used for smaller gaskets to avoid angle distortion.

For gaskets measuring 12"x12" or smaller, we require one 'straight on' photo

For gaskets measuring larger than 12"x 12", we require a photo for every square foot

You must supply at least two accurate dimensions that can be transferred on to the image. The accuracy of these dimensions will affect the accuracy of the produced gasket.
